WHAT DO PARTICIPANTS GET OUT OF OUR WORKSHOPS?
Many workshops leave people low on energy, inspiration and learning. Our workshops have been designed to rapidly harvest collective intelligence, encourage participation by all attendees and ensure they leave with enhanced skills and concrete outcomes on which to act.
Our workshops are highly active and participatory. We don’t tell you what to do. The shape and design of our workshops is what works on you to release the innate knowledge and creativity of your team in a way that is in flow and done with ease.
We create an atmosphere where you can plant new seeds of imagination, cultural cohesion, grow a community that is energised, collaborative and working together towards change goals they understand and back.
WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT ACTIVATION WORKSHOPS?
Our approach has been researched by our founder Jenny Andersson for the last three years. Based on cognitive psychology, creative research and a wide variety of new emergent learning techniques which include Theory U, The Art of Hosting, World Cafe, Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space Technology and many others – our workshops are designed with future-fit business models in mind.
They have been shaped from the knowledge gained by many of the world’s leading experts in human experience design but more importantly, from the direct experience of working with some of the world’s most impactful organisations with meaningful working cultures.
All our facilitators have spent many years studying human behaviour, change, brands and the challenges of uncertainty and complexity. We know how to energise, educate and inspire people who are ‘ready to act’.
What is the time commitment?
With the exception to Activating Creativity 90 (90minutes obviously) all our workshops can be designed to be short or long. Shorter workshops can be just a morning (2.5-3hours) and longer workshops are 1 or 2 days. They can extend over longer for more advanced outcomes and if available time on a daily basis is limited.
Who benefits from your workshops?
Everyone in your organisation will benefit from these workshops, but the positive effects may be seen beyond that – to families of participants and future workplaces. By engaging in this type of work, we are all working together to disrupt the status quo and bust through some of the challenges to positive change that hold our organisations, aspirations and visions back.
How many participants can be in the workshops?
Most of these workshops function best on harvesting collective intelligence so we recommend at least 12 people in most programmes. We recommend an even number of participants for partner work, as well as an equal distribution as possible of all hierarchies, genders and ethnicities in each session. If your organization has a lot of employees, we recommend putting them into groups of no more than 40 participants and planning for a maximum of 2 sessions a day.
Will you sign an NDA?
While we encourage all our clients to be open about their efforts to create change since transparency is a highly effective tool in most circumstances, we understand that is not always possible and are happy to sign an NDA and keep our engagement confidential.
What kind of ongoing support can you offer post training?
We try to impart the knowledge and tools needed so you can continue on your own journey post-workshop. However, we also offer ongoing consultancy, digital learning platforms, leadership coaching support and creative tool development. Many of our clients have us back for top-up training as their teams ask for it!
